The weather’s been kind the last week or so, and the builders have certainly wasted no time – the brick work is just about finished, the roof is on and the windows are in. The tiling is due to start on Friday and we could be virtually watertight by next week – there’s a picture on the flickr badge above taken late this afternoon.
The bedroom is also finally finished, and some semblance of normality has been restored to the upstairs – Megan’s got her room back and I can now reach my desk to work without having to climb over half a bed and bending like a contortionist to get into the chair. There’s some pictures of the bedroom on the flickr badge too, just a bit of tidying and unpacking of clothes and things will be pretty much back to normal.
